Our customer asked:

I have chickens that are pecking each other's feathers out and leaving raw pink skin which they keep pecking until bleeding. I have read on the internet that a product containing Gentian Violet can be sprayed onto the sore skin to heal and colours the skin blue which deters and halts the pecking. Can you please let me know if you have a product like this which I can use for my hens?

Our reply:

There are various treatments for this problem. Generally we find that Net-tex Anti-feather Pecking Spray is effective so this is the product we recommend. It is on the website.
