Is this wormer effective in the treatment of pinworm?
Yes, this wormer is licensed for treating pinworm. It is worth noting that it is important to ensure good stable hygeine with the condition as repeat infection is not uncommon through grooming/itching. Cleaning the edges of the stable where your horse rubs, include the hay nets, as well as more frequent mucking out is advised alongside therapy.

Yes the active ingredient in Nexmectin is ivermectin.

can this wormer be used for in foal mare
Yes Nexmectin can be used safely to worm a pregnant/lactating mare and her foal. It is not recommended to worm your foal until at least 6 weeks of age though.
