Rich in Omega 3 and natural vitamin E
A high specification skin and coat supplement for all cats & dogs, made with a 100% blend of cold pressed linseed & hemp oils to promote healthy skin, a glossy coat and normal moulting cycles.
What are the Benefits of Feeding Omega 3 Aid for Cats and Dogs?
Helps Maintain a Healthy, Glossy Coat
Hemp Oil provides the perfect balance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. This is essential to help maintain the normal moisture content within skin cells and hair follicles to support a soft, silky, shiny coat and normal moulting cycles.
Helps Maintain Healthy Skin
Omega 3 fatty acids and natural vitamin E help to maintain a protective barrier in the skin and help balance Omega 6 fatty acids to maintain the natural anti-inflammatory actions of the body. A deficiency in certain types of fatty acids can result in a dull, dry coat.
Helps Maintain Normal Moulting Cycles
Fat soluble antioxidants like vitamin E tocotrienols help to 'mop-up' free radicals. The tocotrienol form of Vitamin E is 40 to 60 times more readily recycled than other forms of vitamin E in membrane systems. Healthy skin means healthy hair follicles and a shiny coat and normal moulting cycles.
Helps Maintain Good Fertility Status
Omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E antioxidants have been found to be useful in supporting the quality and mobility of sperm, which is essential for breeding stud dogs. Sperm contain high concentrations of very important EPA and DHA fatty acids that are metabolized from the correct balance of Omega 3 and Omega 6.
When Should I feed Omega 3 Aid to My Cat or Dog?
Omega 3 Aid should be fed to all cats and dogs that exhibit dry, flaky skin and poor coat condition.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding GWF Nutrition Omega 3 Aid for Cats & Dogs, including answers from our team.
Heather
If you have a dog who has a sensitive tummy will omega 3 oil upset his tummy
I think Omega 3 oil would be very unlikely to upset your dogs stomach although it is really dependent on the individual dog. I would give it try and see what happens then just stop if it causes a problem.
Penny Shapland
11 year old atopic spaniel bitch with severe chicken allergy and history of colitis and pancreatitis. Does not tolerate salmon oil and also has tinnitus. Will this product help with kidney function? Just started to drink more and some innappropriate urination as a result but seemingly healthy despite over dilute urine and minor lowering of kidney function shown by blood test.
Research has shown that Omega 3 could be helpful in supporting kidney function. Since this supplement is fish oil free this would be a good one for your dog to try. You could also discuss with your vet whether it is a good idea to switch onto a renal diet or ipakitine supplementation of her current food.
